Ian Murphy speaking at a Constitution Celebration

Meet the host: Ian Murphy

Ian Murphy is a Gaylord, Michigan small business owner, advocate and activist. In 2020, when Michigan shut down indoor dining again, he reopened, took the fight to court, and won constitutional rulings on separation of powers in Otsego County Circuit Court.

Today he works for local control and private property rights, helping rural Michiganders fight industrial solar plants through the IRON Foundation (Fight4Michigan). He is writing a book, Risk It for the Brisket, and he speaks to audiences across Michigan about courage, due process and private property.
